To prepare an accurate project quotation, KXD’s engineering team requires the following minimum information: bridge span (metres), width (metres), required height clearance, design load standard (e.g., GB, AASHTO, BS, or Eurocode), site location (for wind and seismic zone reference), and intended use (road traffic, pedestrian, industrial vehicle, or rail). Preliminary site drawings or concept sketches are highly appreciated and allow the team to prepare a more precise structural proposal. Enquiries without full parameters will receive a preliminary indicative range based on the KXDF-01 reference model.

All structural components are fabricated, surface-treated, and pre-assembled into labelled modular units at KXD’s Qingdao factory. Units are packed for seaworthy export using steel pallets and loaded into standard shipping containers, optimised to minimise container count. At the destination port, modules are transported to site and assembled by bolting — no on-site welding is required for standard connections. KXD can arrange for experienced erection technicians to be dispatched to the project site to guide or supervise the assembly process, depending on project scope and agreement.

KXD’s manufacturing facility holds CE certification under EN 1090, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and WPQR. Structural welding conforms to GB50661-2011, widely recognised as equivalent to AWS D1.1. All production is supported by full quality documentation for traceability. KXD welcomes third-party inspections by SGS, BV, or any client-nominated inspection body at any stage of the fabrication process — a process validated by the 1,450-ton Sri Lanka steel bridge project, which passed both BV and SGS assessments.

Yes. KXD’s in-house engineering team — comprising over 50 structural engineers, designers, and detailers — can adapt the structural design to comply with the applicable national or regional standard for the destination country, including GB (China), AASHTO (USA), BS (UK), Eurocode (Europe), or other referenced codes. Buyers are encouraged to advise on the required design standard at the enquiry stage. KXD can produce full structural design drawings, calculations, and approval documentation using Tekla and PKPM software.

Standard fabrication lead time is approximately 30 working days from order confirmation and receipt of all project parameters. For large or multi-phase programmes, KXD’s monthly supply capacity of 8,000 tons supports continuous deliveries across extended project schedules. Buyers managing large-scale infrastructure programmes are encouraged to discuss phased production and delivery planning with KXD’s project team at the enquiry stage to align fabrication milestones with site construction progress.
