To prepare an accurate quotation for your prefabricated steel warehouse project, KXD’s engineering team will need the following minimum information: the building’s intended dimensions (length × width × eave height), the intended use (storage type, goods category, handling equipment), and local environmental load data — particularly the wind speed and snow load applicable to your site. If you have an existing site layout drawing or preliminary design concept, sharing it at the enquiry stage will significantly accelerate the quotation process. KXD can also provide a preliminary budget estimate based on approximate dimensions if a detailed brief is not yet available.

Every KXD prefabricated steel warehouse is engineered to customer specification. There is no fixed module or standard footprint. Column height, bay width, total building length, roof pitch, and all accessory positions are determined during the engineering design phase based on your site conditions, structural load requirements, and operational preferences. KXD’s in-house team of over 50 designers and engineers manages this process from initial design through to fabrication-ready detailed drawings.

Standard fabrication lead time is 30–40 working days from design confirmation and deposit receipt. Actual delivery time will depend on the order volume, shipping route, and destination port. KXD’s logistics team arranges export packaging — steel pallets for structural members and bulk packaging for panels — to optimise container utilisation and simplify unloading at the destination. Please confirm your target delivery date at the enquiry stage so that the production schedule can be planned accordingly.

All primary structural members — columns, beams, purlins, and bracing — are fabricated to precise dimensions in KXD’s Qingdao factory. On-site assembly is carried out by bolting pre-drilled connection plates together using high-strength structural bolts. No field welding is required for the main frame. This means the installation process is straightforward, can be completed by a competent local erection team (with KXD technical support available if required), and in principle allows the structure to be disassembled and relocated to a different site if your operational footprint changes.

KXD’s manufacturing facility holds CE certification to EN1090, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001. Structural welding conforms to GB50661-2011, which is technically equivalent to AWS D1.1. All fabrication documentation is maintained for full traceability. Third-party inspection by SGS, BV, or ITS is fully supported and can be arranged at key production milestones — including material incoming inspection, fabrication progress checks, and pre-shipment final inspection — upon buyer request.
