Project Brief Description:
Qingdao IKEA is a representative large-scale commercial retail project developed for one of the world’s most recognized home furnishing brands. KXD was responsible for the steel structure roof construction of the shopping mall, delivering a solution that combined structural reliability, factory prefabrication, and efficient on-site installation. The total construction area of the project was approximately 28,110 square meters, and one of the key engineering features was a 24-meter single truss span, which required accurate fabrication, stable transportation, and precise erection.
To improve construction efficiency and ensure installation quality, the steel truss components were prefabricated in our factory, transported to the project site as integrated units, and then lifted into position for final assembly. This project fully demonstrates KXD’s capability in handling large-span commercial steel structure works for retail and public-use buildings. It also reflects our experience in supporting commercial projects that demand dependable structural performance, efficient construction schedules, and high-quality execution.
