What are the precautions for steel structure design of pre-engineered steel building?


One

Don't blindly model and calculate when you get the job drawing. First conduct a comprehensive analysis, communicate with the architectural designer, and fully understand the various conditions of the project (functions, type selection, etc.).

 

 

Two

The pre-processing before modeling calculation should be done well. For example, the calculation of the load must be accurate and cannot be estimated. It should be input completely according to construction practices or usage requirements.

 

 

Three

When carrying out structural modeling, it is necessary to understand the meaning of each parameter, do not modify the parameters blindly, and have a basis for modification.

 

 

Four

In the calculation, we must fully consider the economic efficiency under the technical conditions. Do not increase the amount of reinforcement or increase the cross-section of the component at will. This should be taken seriously as one of our design concepts.

 

 

Five

After the calculation of beams, columns, slabs, etc., a large number of adjustments and modifications must be carried out, and this must be based on (according to the check diagram and other data). Specifically, there are the following centralized modifications or precautions:

 

A.     Girder:

 

  1. The height of the rafter (whether to determine the height of the bottom of the beam and the upturn of the girder)

 

  2. The stiffeners of the beam support should not be too thin, and should be artificially encrypted.

 

   3. The number of spans of the beam should be checked.

 

   4. Minimize the type and level difference of steel bars (≤2 level)

 

  5. The beams at the overhanging members such as awnings should be strengthened (the stirrups here can be densified, torsion steel bars can be installed, etc.)

 

  6. The placement of steel bars in the beam must meet the net distance requirements, especially the net distance of the steel bars on the upper part of the beam (≥1.5d or 30mm)

 

  7. At the tic-tac-toe beam (with a primary and secondary relationship) that encounters the computerized result, the primary and secondary relationship should be distinguished, and the support ribs should be marked at the main beam support

 

   8. For connecting beams resting on the side beams, the supporting ribs at the side beams should not be too large, but should be reduced to reduce the torque to the side beams

 

   9. There is a relationship between primary and secondary beams, and there are differences in the beam section, and the secondary beams should be appropriately small.

 

 

 

  B, column:

 

   1. Meet the requirements of axial compression ratio (≤0.9)

 

  2. For large-span workshops, etc., rectangular columns should be used for column cross-sections.

 

  3. The setting of structural columns (check the code "Code for Seismic Design of Buildings" P72)

 

 

 

  C, Cladding system:

 

  1. It is not advisable to use thin steel bars for negative reinforcement, and can be replaced by steel bars with larger diameters to avoid being stepped on during construction;

 

   The diameter steel bar should not be too thin, otherwise the force is weak or it is easy to crack.

 

  2. The elevation and the board profile must be indicated in the structural plan.

 

  3. All the steel bars of the roof panel must be pulled through.

 

  4. The reinforcement of the slab should be clearly expressed, and the construction staff should not be allowed to guess.

 

   5. In the structural plan, indicate the position and size of the awning, balcony, cornice, etc., and draw a large sample.

 

 

 

  D, Foundation:

 

   1. Deep foundation and shallow foundation cannot be mixed.

 

  2. When calculating the foundation load, do not miss the load calculation (including the load weight of the bottom wall, etc.)

 

  3. The elevation of the foundation (including ground beams, caps, etc.) must meet the passage of the upper pipeline, and generally reserve 300mm on it.
