How to design aseismic steel structure?
1. Structure type of steel structure house

The common structural systems of steel structure houses include frame structure, frame support structure, frame seismic wall panel structure, simplified structure and mega frame structure. The aseismic performance of steel structure buildings depends on the type selection of the structure. In the actual engineering design, it is necessary to consider a variety of factors to optimize the scheme, and determine the appropriate structural system in the optimization process.


2. Structural layout principle of steel structure house

The selection of structural system and layout of steel structure house is related to the safety, applicability and economy of the structure. Like other types of building structures, regular building scheme should be adopted for multi-storey and high-rise steel structure buildings. When the structure shape is complex and the plane and elevation are irregular, the anti earthquake joints can be set at the appropriate parts according to the actual needs, so as to form a number of more regular anti lateral force structural units. As the structural deformation that steel structure can withstand is greater than that of concrete structure, generally speaking, it is not suitable to set anti-seismic joint. When it must be set, the width of anti-seismic joint should not be less than 1.5 times of the corresponding reinforced concrete structure.


3. Large height and aspect ratio of steel structure house

According to the overall height and seismic fortification intensity of the structure, the structure type and larger applicable height are determined. The aspect ratio of a structure is an important parameter affecting the overall stability and seismic performance of a structure. It has a direct impact on the structural stiffness, lateral displacement and vibration form. Height ratio refers to the ratio of the total height of the house to the smaller width of the plane. When the ratio of height to width is large, on the one hand, the structure will produce large horizontal displacement and P-A effect, and on the other hand, the column will produce large axial force due to overturning moment. Therefore, it is necessary to set a limit value for the height width ratio of steel structure buildings, which should not be greater than the reasonable limit value. When the limit value is exceeded, special research should be carried out and necessary anti-seismic measures should be taken.
