Design of connecting node and column foot of steel structure workshop member

1, Portal steel structure workshop has the following three ways of beam-column joint connection: vertical plane, horizontal plane and inclined plane spliching.  When choosing inclined plane splicing, attention should be paid to the acute Angle formed between the outer flange of the beam and column and splicing plate, which will reduce the space of the first row of high-strength bolt device, and the hole position should be adjusted according to lofting.

The awning beam can be connected with the column by the short ox leg welded on the column.  


3, The minimum length of anchor bolts embedded in concrete foundation shall be calculated according to the rules of foundation planning standards.  This embedment length should not be confused with anchoring length in the concrete standard, they are two different concepts.  When the anchor bolt is provided with an end anchor plate, the outer contour of the anchor plate may exceed the steel column bottom plate.  


4, Steel structure workshop construction, in order to facilitate the steel column in place and accurate calibration, the bottom four corner anchor bolts can be equipped with adjusting nuts, and the corresponding extension of the length of the thread.  Special grouting material should be used for grouting layer, not fine stone concrete or high grade mortar instead.  


5, Shear key can choose Angle steel, channel steel, I-steel and other steel, its setting direction should make the strong axis perpendicular to the shear direction.  The length of shear key should be 100~150mm to ensure that it extends into the shear groove of the top of the concrete column, and the grouting layer should not be used for shear.
